WAVE PTX allows static guards to stay connected

Motorola WAVE PTX™ enables static security guards to stay connected whilst often working independently.

The responsibilities of a static security guard may include traffic control, armed guarding, gate keeping, patrolling and CCTV monitoring.  They prevent trespassing, vandalism and a large range of other offences in and around businesses and work sites.  Some of these sites include shopping centres, car parks, construction developments, office buildings, these parks and museums.

Not only is their responsibility to monitor visitors to the venue, but also to monitor staff and their practices.  They ensure appropriate safety measures are consistently met.  They can also assess potential hazards and respond to emergencies.

TLK100

Guards will often utilise the TLK100.  This provides an easy to use , robust radio with clear audio.  Operatives will be able to communicate with other team members, both at their location and also at other locations nationwide.  They will also be able to have direct dialogue with supervisors who may be positioned at HQ 50 miles away.  The TLK100 is able to deliver this capability due to the wide area coverage that is available via 3G/4G / Broadband.

APP

Motorola WAVE PTX™ allows you to turn your smartphone into a PTT handset.  This enables the guard to have the speed and simplicity of PTT communications with the ability to share multimedia information at a touch of a button.

The APP will provide:

• Instant PTT communication
• Multimedia messaging
• Location and mapping services

Motorola Wave PTX™ is a network independent multimedia communication subscription service thats instantly connects your team at a push of a button. The platform operates on a 3G/4G broadband basis.  It roams between 3G/4G and WIFI, picking up the most effective signal.
