TLK100 – supports Porsche event

Wirefr3 were delighted to be asked to provide a two-way radio solution for a premier Porsche event.

This was the 5th anniversary of Megaphonics, held at Boxengasse, Bicester, Oxon.  The event is exclusively focused on all things Porsche – an absolute joy and must for all Porsche enthusiasts.

Boxengasse is over 100 acres of outdoor event space which includes 50,000 square feet of purpose built facilities for servicing, restoration and hospitality.  A fantastic setting for such an event.

TLK100 built for large outdoor events

With the event spread over a significant area, normal two-way radios were unable to provide the quality comms that the event would need.  Given that this was a one day event, bringing in additional radio infrastructure to provide better coverage was just not economical.   The perfect solution for such a large outdoor event?  The Motorola WAVE PTX TLK100 radio.  With coverage not an issue – users can speak to one another across the UK and Europe! – the TLK100 was able to deliver the quality comms that the events needed.  In addition, no additional radio infrastructure is needed.  Simply turn on and speak!  Team Wirefr3 remained on standby if event organisers wanted to make any additional changes to the TLK100 set-up.  With its cloud-based programming software, team Wirefr3 would have been able to make modifications to the radios over the air and within seconds.
